Aesthetic Dentistry Awards 2019: 10 years of excellence

2019 marks the 10th Aesthetic Dentistry Awards ceremony. Sophie Hatton provides all you need to know to enter the prestigious awards scheme in its decennial year

Ten years can pass in the blink of an eye, and that sentiment certainly rings true when considering the Aesthetic Dentistry Awards.

Launching as the Smile Awards back in 2009, for the last decade this prestigious awards scheme has honoured aesthetically focused dental practitioners year in, year out, and helped raised the bar for clinical standards in aesthetic dentistry.

Changing its name to the Aesthetic Dentistry Awards in 2013 helped to really cement the ethos of the awards, with its focus on honouring those responsible for promoting clinical excellence in aesthetics.

Clinical excellence is at the heart of the awards, and it’s what makes receiving an Aesthetic Dentistry Award such a prestigious accolade.

This could not have been achieved without the long-term support of judging panel chair, Dr Chris Orr, who has overseen the awards judging since the ceremony’s inception.

2019 awards: the details

Over the last 10 years, the Aesthetic Dentistry Awards have gone from strength to strength, growing each year in terms of quality and volume of entries.

With categories now covering aesthetic disciplines from orthodontics, implant dentistry, tooth whitening, complex surgical restorations, and facial aesthetics, the awards are sure to continue to recognise clinical excellence in aesthetic dentistry for years to come.

The 10th Aesthetic Dentistry Awards ceremony will take on 22 March 2019, once again at the iconic Landmark hotel in London, so make sure you save the date.

Registration for entry to the 2019 awards is now open – head over to www.aestheticdentistryawards.com to enter. You can enter as many of the awards categories as you like, and registration is free until 31 August 2018.
